Nursery
On Tuesday it was e-safety day, so we enjoyed pretending to be at the office! We typed away at the laptops and had lots of conversations on the phones!
In preparation for Valentine’s Day, we worked together to create some heart shaped bunting for our cloakroom. We used paint sticks to create marks on the hearts. We also had some squishy pink playdough to explore. We used cutters to make heart shapes.
Kindergarten
This week we’ve been enjoying time out in the garden and exploring the climbing frame with our friends.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we have been using heart shaped kitchen rolls to print hearts onto our cards we are giving to our loved ones! We have also made valentine biscuits, which we spent time in the kitchen area making from scratch. We can’t wait to take them home to eat!
Pre-School
We have been making love potions this week! Shauna set up the tuff tray with different coloured water, flower petals, pipettes, sticks for stirring and scented water. There were also various sized cups and tubes to create our potions in!
We have been having a go at blow painting and made a love monster. We used pink paint with a pipette to drop it onto the paper and then used the straw to blow the paint, which then moved around the paper. We added googly eyes once the paint was dried.
We were making some silly soup at group time, we were rhyming with the song and the looking for the pictures that rhymed with a word in the bowl of silly soup!
