Nursery
This week in Nursery we have been busy celebrating Easter with lots of crafts! We had some very special visitors on Thursday morning, as some of our families and loved ones came to visit us in the room. We made Easter cards, created with playdough, explored a sensory tray with pastel coloured rice and found the hidden eggs amongst the hay!
We also learned more about animals this week as Tish invited us to explore lots of farm themed activities! We learned about where milk comes from, and we had a go at 'milking' the cow through the udders. We even put wool on the sheep to make a fluffy fleece, and cleaned up the animals from all the mud. We then read stories all about farm animals!
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we have been enjoying all sorts of different activities! We have been building big towers and houses with the bricks. In the garden we explored some messy play in the tuff tray, using yellow paint and squishy foam. We went to the dining room to chop up fruit for our snack. We played with the toy babies in the Yurt, and enjoyed the sand tray!
We've also celebrated Easter with lots of themed activities, and had lots of fun inviting our loved ones into the setting to explore them with us!
