Nursery
This week in Nursery we enjoyed a trip to the garden! We were keen to ride around on the bikes, saying "beep beep"! Whilst playing in the sand we found some leaves, and the adults explained they had fallen from the trees above.
We've also been in the big garden too, exploring the sunny vegetable patch! We got stuck in, exploring the texture of the soil and watering the planters.
Back in the nursery room we explored some imaginative play with dough ice cream! We used different tools to mold and shape the vanilla, strawberry and chocolate mixtures.
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we have enjoyed playing in our Pre-School garden during free flow! We are loving the climbing frame, climbing up an then sliding down the other side, and hiding in the tunnel from monsters! In our garden, we have put the tarp up for us to play and read books under, along with our teepee.
In the yurt, we dressed up as builders and excitedly smiled for the camera!
Inside we had a look at some flash cards, to identify different things and expand our vocabulary! We also celebrated world story time day with an amazing tuff tray. The tray featured The Gruffalo, Elmer the Elephant, Giraffes Can't Dance and more!
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we celebrated St Patrick's day by creating our own sparkling shamrocks, completing colouring in sheets and learning more about the Irish flag!
It was National Gardening Day this week, so we made some flowers and set up our tuff tray like a garden.
With the sunshine nature has been waking up! We've been out in the garden searching for minibeasts.
