Nursery
This week in Nursery we have been celebrating St George's Day! We have been making our own pictures using paint brushes, and explored a pasta sensory tray which we turned into the St George's Flag!
We also got stuck into a beach themed tuff tray where we made mini sandcastles, and explored sea creatures we might spot at the beach!
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten might have only been four days, but we still had tons of fun! We celebrated World Earth Day with an amazing tuff tray representing our planet, with lots of different animals on top of it.
We also enjoyed our new binoculars this week, we looked through and discovered we could see things very far away!
We have been demonstrating great behaviour this week, with lots of looking after our friends and helping out. Our adults gave us stickers to celebrate and we are so proud!
Under the HABA unit we've been musical, exploring the shakers and tambourines to make noise.
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we celebrated St George's Day! We talked about the story of George and the Dragon, watched a story about it and coloured in the flag.
In the garden the rainy weather brought out lots of minibeasts! We were very gentle but confident with the snails, holding them in our hands and them placing them somewhere safe.
We also started creating Helicopter Stories! This is our opportunity to create, share and narrate our own tales, which the adults then write down for us. We look forward to acting them out very soon!
