Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we have spent lots of time soaking up the good weather in the garden! Our Outdoor Champion Hayley has decorated our garden so beautifully, and now we have so many more resources to play with. We have colourful bunting to decorate our fences and our ice cream shop has now opened! We have been selling our ice creams to our peers and exploring all the different types of ice creams and lollies. We used our easel and lots of green paint to cover it!
We also have some more role pay kitchen resources so we have been cooking up hot dogs and chips - don't forget the seasoning! We also had a colourful dinosaur themed tuff tray with pom poms which we carefully placed in the dinosaurs mouths to feed them.
Inside we have been enjoying our sand tray, using diggers and spades to clear the sand and build castles. We also visited Pre-School's sensory room and placed our cuddly toys on the wobble boards and rocked them back and forth!
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we have been exploring our physical development and coordination, trying to throw a hoop over the cones!
We've also been developing our number recognition as we searched for numbers in the tuff tray. Once we had found them we tried to write them ourselves in the sand!
We have also spent time outside in our vegetable patch, we planted some baby cabbage plants. We gave them a good water and hope they will grow!
We also explored a beach themed tray, we particularly enjoyed listening to the sound of the sea by holding up shells to our ears. Wow!
