Nursery
This week in Nursery we have spent a lot of time in the garden enjoying the sunshine! We have been splashing in the water tray with lots of bubbles - "splish splash"!
In the role play area we have been caring for our toy babies, looking after them by patting them off to sleep and giving them lots of buddles.
Easter is on the way so we have been decorating eggs! We used cotton wool, to create lots of colourful marks.
We also got stuck into a farm themed sensory tray! We explored the different animals and could recall the noises each animal makes.
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we have been getting creative with lots of different mark making tools! We have been doing this with paint, chalk and lots more!
At the end of last week we celebrated Mother's Day with a craft session. We had picture frames which we decorated with sequins, pom poms and flowers!
We have been making lots of different shapes in our play dough tray can using the colourful crystals to identify different colours and look through them.
We have also enjoying outdoor activities such as the sand tray and cooking station, as well our makeshift road for our cars!
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we have been focusing on PSED - Personal, Social and Emotional Development. We've been talking about our Pre-School Golden Rules, and how being kind and considerate makes us good friends. We have been helping each other lots, remembering to take turns and share with resources and toys!
We have a new Treasure Modelling area which has been super fun, we got stuck in using all the different recyclable materials to invent new creations!
We've also been solving puzzles this week and learning more about shapes with different games! We can recognise the different shapes, and together with the adults we've been counting up the number of sides, corners and curves each shape has.
