Nursery
This week in Nursery we celebrated World Wildlife Day! We've been learning lots about different animals and their names, and in the art studio made some creative masterpieces by dipping toy animals in paint and moving them across the paper.
On Tuesday we decorated some delicious pancakes. We could add yoghurt and lots of fresh berries, we picked them up independently and added them to our pancake - yum!
For World Book Day we had a great time dressing up in costumes and exploring books! Some of us independently explored books, turning the pages and looking at what we could see. Some of us chose to share a story with our adults!
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we have had a week of celebrating! Before our celebrations started we enjoyed playing in the garden, selling ice cream and hot chocolate from the house!
On Tuesday we celebrated pancake day - or Shrove Tuesday - where we made 'pancakes' in our tuff tray, adding 'Nutella' and 'spray cream'. We had so much fun!
Later on in the week, we celebrated World Book Day. We all dressed up as our favourite book crackers and roleplayed as them throughout the day. It was so amazing to see all your costumes and effort!
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we celebrated Shrove Tuesday by making our own pancakes in the tuff tray! As we added our 'toppings' we discussed what our favourite things are to add to pancakes. We then had some real pancakes for snack, yum!
For World Book Day we had lots of fun dressing up as our favourite characters from a book. The Pre-School team had dressed up as characters from The Wizard of Oz, so we took part in lots of themed activities - from painting the yellow brick road to matching up Dorothy's ruby slippers!
We explored a magical water tray, stirring together the purple mixture. We used different sized containers and cups to stir and swish the water around!
In the Sensory Room we explored our new Online Safety Promises. Our E-Safety Champions have created these statements that will help us to stay safe online!
