Nursery
This week in Nursery we have been making their own balloon pictures for the balloon fiesta which is happening this weekend! They have been placing different colour tissue onto the balloons!
We also took some trips to the sensory room downstairs, we particularly enjoyed the bubble lamp! We noticed the fish floating up and down, and got very excited when the colours changed!
We also had the chance to meet our butterflies which had left their cocoons this week! We used very gentle hands and held them with the help from our adults.
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten, we welcomed some new friends down from the Nursery room! We were very excited to show them around and introduce ourselves.
We spent a lot of time in the big garden with our friends that have recently transitioned to Pre-School, making mud pies in the mud kitchen and doing lots of climbing!
At the art station, we were decorating the first letter of our names to make them extra special, as well won medals when we did some good listening!
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we took part in a Colour Monster activity! We talked about different emotions and took turns sharing how we were all feeling that day, and why.
The butterflies had finally left their cocoons this week so we helped released them into the garden! One managed to find their way back inside Pre-School, so we were very resourceful and helped the adults catch it and take them back outside.
We've also been very excited for the Balloon Fiesta! We've been drawing our own balloons and sharing experiences of seeing them up in the sky.
