Nursery
This week in Nursery we celebrated Grandparents Day with some special visitors! Some of our grandparents came in to spend some time with us- and we got stuck into some arts and crafts, messy play, and sensory activities with them!
We've also been spending time in the Art Studio creating pretty pastel paintings! We used the brushes to decorate the paper, experimenting with different lines and colours.
Outside this week we got a bit messy with the squishy foam! On the rooftop garden we explored sticking the blocks together, and also had lots of fun getting it all over our hands too!
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten...
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we were given lots of responsibility, helping the adults to make playdough! We all took turns to mix the dough together, and once it was created we discussed the best way to make sure everyone who wanted a go could have one. We agreed to split the dough up into even sized pieces, checking they were all equal. What a great display of democracy and equality!
In the Art Studio we made our own planets, using the paint dabbers and paper plates. As we filled up all the space, we talked about what we would call our planets and who would live there!
Rain never stops us enjoying outdoor play, and out on the decking we got busy with a bubbly water tray! We decided to clean all our toy animals, pouring the water over them so they were nice and clean.
