This week in Flax Bourton, we had lots of fun outside enjoying the lovely weather in the sunshine! We explored the tunnel where one of the practitioners stood on the other side whilst the children would climb through! We then sat and enjoyed playing with the coloured hoops whilst we learnt all the different colours. The babies also had free flow with the chalks whilst they were encouraged to colour onto the floor.
This week in Kindergarten we celebrated this terms Core Book "The Tiger Who Came To Tea" by making some tiger masks! We used straws to blow the paint onto the paper, making stripes.
The weather has been so lovely this week so we have been outside a lot! On the decking we have been cleaning our cars and trucks with toothbrushes. We've been playing with our friends so well, cooperating and taking turns pushing the wheelbarrow around. We've been engaging in some risky play climbing the trees and swinging on the rope bridge, as well as cooking up some lovely food in the mud kitchen!
This week in Pre-School has been super fun and super sunny!
Inside we have been recapping all the different emotions. We have been exploring the water trays on the decking and have been amazing at colour coordination! Picnics have been made as well as Mr Potato Heads and we have even made a Pre-School train! To finish off inside we have been loving our core book 'Superworm'.
Outside in the garden we have of course enjoyed the balance bikes. We have been planting this week and we've planted sunflowers and runner beans! We have been looking after them by making sure they get plenty of water. We have enjoyed popping bubbles out in the garden and decorating the floor with chalk. To top the week off a few of our friends went to the farm to visit the lovely lambs. Well done Pre-School for another wonderful week!
